As cold settles over Oslo, so does color. Or does it? In a colorful, bold twist, the lovely Jenny Skavlan brightened up my day yesterday in her toxic pink Kenzo Vintage jacket, wide-bottomed H&M pants and her leather bag. Because weather does not have to rule your sense of vision and style. Instead, it’s a chance to be playful with texture and color. Complimenting a black outfit with a bold jacket is the right choice to go that extra mile. Brighten up any day.

One of the most ethereal and beautiful faces out there, Siri Tollerød (@ DNA Models) is always a pleasure at sight and socially, as well. Attending the Acne Archive Store Opening, Siri is clear proof that less is more. In an Acne rugged ensemble in deep blue, a tee and black bootins, Siri shines. It is such simplicity that has not only made her one of the most popular models in the latest years, but it kept her style casually chic. Because looking young doesn’t need to mean being boring. Simple, to the point and stylish.
Discovering her own essence and style, Silje Pedersen is that perfect balance between that girl within that loves to experiment with silhouettes, pattern and color and that woman who is confident, elegant and shining. With that though in head, Silje always manages to catch that touch of excitement, this time through intense, dark colors that contrast wonderfully against the black denim. With her blond hair, that plastic fantastic burgundy bag, a Balenciaga bracelet and her snake printed, open-toed bootins, Silje embodies that modern woman delightfully.
Always in exciting colors and with a rocked out attitude, I have grown to anticipate Celine Aagaard’s sense of style with each event or happening. Attending the Oslo Fashion Week Opening Day, Celine aka Hippie Hippie Milkshake is the perfect combination of youthful patterns, bold accessories, an always cool Proenza Schouler bag, and an overall tough girl attitude. And with a new magazine debut under her belt (StyleMag) coming out in October, Celine shows that the tough girl is not only an exterior, but that one of a hardworking, stylish woman on the rise.
Kapow. By urban definition, the word written for a loud noise or action. Fashion-wise, however, it is the noise made when a strong personality meets a strong look. Meet Hege Golf. Perhaps it’s her model background that give her stance. Or it could be that beautiful scandinavian look contrasted to the blue tones throughout her Acne blazer and her blue eye shadow. Or it could be that quirky attitude that shines through her vibrant way of being. Nonetheless, there is no doubt that in an Acne outfit (take notice of her shoes) with a dash of Céline, Hege is truly the fashion meaning of kapow. A true statement.
Ever so feminine, Ada Kristine Nilsen aka A Hint of Peppermint embodies that young and flirty woman, in a dress and shirt ensemble. Less is more does not necessarily mean catering to minimalism, but rather to a point where imagination meets the eye. As her untucked shirt meets her asymmetric shirt, Ada provides a sense of femininity much more appealing than a cleavage-showing outfit. A sense of smart and beauty.
It’s funny how much a smile can lighten up every picture. Yet with Anja Stang, it’s only one of the variables in the whole image. In vibrant turquoise latex tee from Christina Ledang and Bianco shoes with a dash of pop in her Céline bag, Anja is clear proof that Norwegians are unafraid of color and material. And in the long run, a dash of shock color goes the extra mile!
Bold and classic, Marianne Theodorsen aka StyleDevil always knows how to combine that edgy, cool colorful vibe into her own persona. In an Epilogue by Eva Emanuelsen LBD, Acne shoes and her Alexander Wang bag, Marianne is larger than life, cheery and bright at the Acne Archive Opening in Oslo, Norway. A complete charm.
Dramatics in detail. Coming out of Giambattista Valli and wearing Giambattista Valli, Anna Dello Russo is bold in movement. With a design piece that reveals its dramatic allure through each body movement, Anna taps into that wild trend through her zebra printed frills. Add a statement piece through her Guiseppe Zanotti X Kanye West heels and you get one animalistic outfit carried by the one and only Anna.
