In a colorful, bold twist, the lovely Jenny Skavlan brightened up my day yesterday in her toxic pink Kenzo Vintage jacket, wide-bottomed H&M pants and her leather bag. Because weather does not have to rule your sense of vision and style. Instead, it’s a chance to be playful with texture and color. Complimenting a black outfit with a bold jacket is the right choice to go that extra mile. Brighten up any day.

It is such simplicity that has not only made her one of the most popular models in the latest years, but it kept her style casually chic. Because looking young doesn’t need to mean being boring. Discovering her own essence and style, Silje Pedersen is that perfect balance between that girl within that loves to experiment with silhouettes, pattern and color and that woman who is confident, elegant and shining. Attending the Oslo Fashion Week Opening Day, Celine aka Hippie Hippie Milkshake is the perfect combination of youthful patterns, bold accessories, an always cool Proenza Schouler bag, and an overall tough girl attitude. And with a new magazine debut under her belt (StyleMag) coming out in October, Celine shows that the tough girl is not only an exterior, but that one of a hardworking, stylish woman on the rise.

Less is more does not necessarily mean catering to minimalism, but rather to a point where imagination meets the eye. As her untucked shirt meets her asymmetric shirt, Ada provides a sense of femininity much more appealing than a cleavage-showing outfit. A sense of smart and beauty.
It’s funny how much a smile can lighten up every picture. Yet with Anja Stang, it’s only one of the variables in the whole image. In vibrant turquoise latex tee from Christina Ledang and Bianco shoes with a dash of pop in her Céline bag, Anja is clear proof that Norwegians are unafraid of color and material. I have always admired Jone Nielsen’s aesthetic. Perhaps it’s his allure as a designer that gives him that edge to combine urbanity with classic nature. Or it’s the simple fact that he is a man in touch with his persona and suits it exactly right. Nonetheless, it’s Jone’s mix and match that not only make him worth snapping, but also put him on a one to watch radar.
